Description

Bronze from 1950 terracotta study for London Pride 3 cast in an edition of 9 with the permission of the Dobson Estate in 2016.

Numbered.

Foundry stamp.

Dobson's most famous commission, made for the Festival of Britain 1951.

The full size piece was originally sited in plaster on the South Bank and then cast in bronze in 1987 with the help of the Moore Foundation and sited permanently on the South Bank.

Restoration on the left arm of the right hand figure.

Provenance Dobson Estate.
